Ryan Swanson

Ryan Swanson

Ryan Swanson is a wife, momma to one, attorney, sushi eater, sometimes runner, and lover of life. She is the best, imperfect mom that she can be and lives by the motto, “It's not about perfection, it's about the adventure!” She may not always have it 100% together, but that is why she is so relatable.

Don’t let the name Ryan Swanson fool you – her parents chose the name before learning they would be raising a little girl. Apparently, they were relying on the 50 year boys-only streak on her dad's side of the family – she sure surprised them! Ryan recently turned thirty and considers herself a lawyer by day (and by many nights…) and an around-the-clock mommy and wife.

She met her husband Todd in law school, married him a year after graduation and then settled into life in Atlanta along with their dog and cat. She enjoyed her life as a newlywed, spending weekends eating out at restaurants, fixing up her 1930s bungalow, checking out local bands and going to movies. And now after the arrival of her first son, Lukas, Ryan will tell you her world has turned upside down in the most wonderful way possible. Ryan’s life is a wild rollercoaster ride made up of true stories of a working mom including the good, the bad and the ugly. Join Ryan on her journey through motherhood as she juggles work and family with honesty and humor.
